New lorry garage and office building

Our partner for transport, Weder AG, needed a new lorry garage. We were involved in the new development of the hall in a hybrid construction that is located in Speicherschwendi, Appenzell. We created the timber construction according to the plans by the architecture firm Frei & Gmünder from St. Gallen.

We completed the timber construction planning for the new hall and were also responsible for the production and assembly of the timber structures. The second floor of the office building and the roof for the entire construction were created in wood element construction. The building was fitted with a facade cladding made of a pre-greyed, horizontally laid spruce-fir formwork of Swiss wood. It lends the building a modern look.
