Modular construction creates space for wraparound childcare

The new modular school building was Boudry’s response to an urgent need among the local population. With a floor area of 600 m², the building provides space for the extracurricular supervision of 70 children. The project also includes a multifunctional sports ground and additional parking. The L-shaped structure comprises 12 large modules and seven smaller ones, some of which are fitted with double heat storage layers and acoustic panelled ceilings. The building conforms to the MinergieP standard, with the timber construction creating a natural, pleasant indoor climate.
