Temporary school building modules using modular system

We developed a new, standardised modular system for temporary school rooms for the canton of Zug. The basic building block is a prefabricated room cell with a floor area of 25 m2. As with all of our modular structures, the development standard is very high. For example, it conforms to the Minergie standard. A classroom with a usable area of 75 m2 comprises three room cells. This allows for various floor plan configurations.

Modul Zug is designed as a living classroom accentuated with strong colours. The school and kindergarten pavilions enable a flexible, rapid response to changing requirements in terms of school, kindergarten and daycare space. The basic modules can be combined according to site-specific requirements over two storeys (extendible to three storeys) in various floor plan layouts.
