Round wooden silo in Wetzikon

New construction of the depot for the public utilities and the maintenance service of the town of Wetzikon. Blumer Lehmann was responsible for the planning, production and assembly of the round wooden silo with a capacity of 100m3. To match the new building with its dark façade, the spruce wood of the silo was also treated with a dark wood preservative glaze. The black façade reflects the history of the area; in the past, gas was extracted from hard coal here.
