Modular silo facility with a volume of 1'600m3 for grit in Fribourg

This modular silo facility is located directly at the Fribourg Nord motorway exit and offers everything needed for today's winter service.

The upper part of the silo facility is covered with a sheet metal façade, the lower part with polycarbonate panels. The salt is obtained by logging in the vehicle. Afterwards, the desired purchase quantity can be entered. Loading takes place automatically. The brine plant, which was built in cooperation between the plant constructor and BL Silobau, works with the same system. Salt and brine quantities are integrated in the salt manager and can be viewed from anywhere via the Internet. Salt residues in the gritting vehicle can be returned to the silo via a mobile salt return system.
